Real Madrid DENY Enzo Fernandez Links

Real Madrid Deny Enzo Talks — So Why Won’t His Agent Stop Talking?
Real Madrid have gone official to kill the Enzo Fernández noise. The problem? His own agent keeps turning the volume back up.
Real Madrid don’t do transfer denials lightly. So when the club published an official communiqué on Friday morning categorically ruling out any interest in Enzo Fernández, it was meant to end the conversation. It hasn’t — because almost everything coming out of Enzo’s camp this week points the other way.
What Madrid Actually Said
The statement, published on the club’s website, is about as blunt as these things get. Madrid insist they have made no move — direct or indirect — to sign Enzo, and have no intention of pursuing the deal. They go out of their way to praise the player, calling him a great footballer whose quality is well known, and stress the excellent institutional relationship they hold with Chelsea. And it’s precisely out of respect for Chelsea, they say, that they feel compelled to categorically deny speculation they insist has no basis in reality.
The closing line is the pointed one: Madrid say they regret that reporting keeps circulating that has no grounding in fact, and that it only confuses supporters and needlessly damages the clubs and people involved. Translation: nothing to see here, stop asking.

The Agent Didn’t Get the Memo
Here’s the awkward part. Because if Madrid want this story to die, someone should have a word with Javier Pastore. Enzo’s agent — yes, the former PSG playmaker — sat down with AS and said the quiet part out loud. Madrid like the best players, he pointed out, and Enzo has been one of the best in Europe this season, so of course the admiration runs both ways: Real Madrid like Enzo, and Enzo likes Real Madrid. Just like, he was careful to add, he likes other clubs out there too.
Then came the exit talk. Pastore praised Chelsea for developing young talent and trusting them in the Premier League, credited the club for the titles Enzo has won across three and a half years — and delivered the line that actually matters: there comes a point where you follow the player’s path, and if he’s asking for things the club can’t provide, you go looking for solutions.
It’s a masterclass in plausible deniability. Butter Chelsea up, insist the player’s mind is only on the World Cup, and frame the whole thing as Enzo simply following his path — as if his agent hasn’t spent months shaping that path, floating Madrid in interviews and keeping every interested club warm. None of this is accidental. This exit has been engineered in slow motion, and Pastore knows exactly what he’s doing. For what it’s worth, Fabrizio Romano reported the Madrid denial straight — no talks have taken place — which, ironically, is the one thing everybody in this saga seems to agree on.

So Who’s Actually In For Him?
If Enzo does go, he won’t be short of takers. Arsenal have reportedly asked to be kept in the loop. City flagged interest too — though with Elliot Anderson already through the door at a British-record fee, you have to wonder whether there’s any point now. And then there’s PSG, who’ve shown genuine interest and would drop Enzo straight in as a natural Fabián Ruiz successor.
If we’re being honest, PSG is the one we’d rather deal with. A clean sale to Paris means no strengthening of a Premier League or LaLiga side we’ll have to face down the line — and that’s the version of this that suits Chelsea best.
Now the Important Part: the Money
Chelsea are reportedly holding out for around £120m, and given what the market is doing, they’re right to. Big midfield fees are flying everywhere — Elliot Anderson just moved to Manchester City for £116m to become the most expensive British player in history. If that’s the going rate for a 23-year-old still building his trophy cabinet, then Enzo — a World Cup winner, a Champions League winner, three and a half years of silverware at the very top — should command more. Simple as that.
And here’s the sweetener: he still has a World Cup to play. A deep run with Argentina, maybe a second star on the shirt, and his valuation only climbs. There’s no need to rush. The tournament is his focus for now, and that buys every party the time to find the right solution at the right price.
The Dream: an Aurélien Tchouaméni Play
Which brings us to the bit that genuinely gets us out of bed. Reports — louder by the day — suggest Aurélien Tchouaméni could be made available this summer as Madrid look to fund their own rebuild, with the Frenchman’s asking price pitched at around €90m.
For me, this is the dream. Not just a sale, but a straight upgrade of profile. Xabi Alonso wants a proper holding six — a controller who can drop between the centre-backs and let the whole thing build from the back. Tchouaméni is one of the best on the planet at exactly that. Cash in on Enzo, reinvest in a genuine anchor, and Chelsea don’t just replace a player — they change level.
Think about it alongside the attacking threat we already carry from the full-backs. A single pivot who can drop in, screen the back line and spray it wide is the missing piece of this whole team. That holding six who can drop is precisely what Chelsea have been crying out for.
🚨💣 BREAKING: Aurélien Tchouaméni could be AVAILABLE for a figure around €82M.

Madrid can deny it all they like — Enzo is edging towards the exit, and if Chelsea play this properly, they don’t just bank a fortune, they land the exact midfielder Alonso has been begging for.
